Arooga’s Premieres Industry-Leading Parking Application

At a recent press conference at the downtown Harrisburg Arooga’s (201 North 2nd Street), Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse announced the Pango Mobile Parking App, which will allow Arooga’s guests to view their daily food and happy hour specials when they pay to park using this app. Arooga’s is the first Harrisburg restaurant to partner with Pango

Arooga’s, the Harrisburg, Penn.-born and based award-winning full-service casual restaurant and bar with nine locations in Central Pennsylvania, decided to be an early adopter of the technology in order to make parking a non-issue for its customers.

Arooga’s catered each event courtesy of Pango for attendees who signed up for the new app and had a special section of the restaurant dedicated to Pango, whose representatives spoke with customers while providing app demonstations and taking questions about the program.
With Pango Mobile Parking, customers can Pay-by-Phone quickly and easily using iPhone, Blackberry, Android Phone or any other cell phone and by customizing the Pango mobile parking account to suit their needs. Before the parking time expires, customers receive a text message so you can get back to your car or extend your parking time. Pango Mobile Parking is used in more than 47 large cities around the world with more than one 1,300,000 Pay-by-Phone transactions per month and more than 700,000 highly satisfied customers.
