Bob Evans Farms Sees 3Q Profit, Swings to a Miss

Bob Evans Farms Inc. reported third quarter results that fell below expectations, sending shares lower in trading after hours.
The restaurant operator saw fiscal third-quarter profit of $18 million or 58 cents a share, compared to a loss of $51.4 million or a loss of $1.67 a share in the year-ago period.
Net sales slid 3.1% to $429.8 million, compared to sales of $443.8 million in the third quarter a year ago.
