With a slightly larger but narrow space to work with, the design team took the opportunity to enhance the brand’s aesthetic, creating a cozy boba tea store that radiates warmth and sophistication.
The new Georgetown location features a dramatic yet soothing color palette that retains the bold hues of the original store while introducing more white elements to create a clean, modern look. The inclusion of natural wood accents softens the overall design, providing a welcoming, organic touch. The store’s layout includes various seating options to accommodate different group sizes, from intimate nooks to more open areas, all designed to encourage customers to relax and linger over their favorite boba tea.
One of the standout features of the new design is the integration of bookshelves filled with books and plants, which contribute to a homely, inviting atmosphere. This thoughtful addition, along with strategic use of mirrors to enhance light and space, helps to create a welcoming environment where customers feel at ease.
The front counter, adorned with patterned tiles and illuminated by warm lighting, immediately draws customers in with its display of mochi donuts and an oversized, illuminated store logo. The interior’s cozy feel is further enhanced by neon signs and wood-covered pillars that create subtle visual separations, adding to the store’s charm.
