Hormel Foods Corporation has a challenging and exciting opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager in our Foodservice division located in Austin, MN. As an Assistant Product Manager, you will assist in implementing the marketing plan for the categories assigned.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Assume primary role for forecasting and inventory management including SKU review
• Assist in pricing process, which includes bid pricing, extended pricing and weekly pricing to maximize return and top-line growth
• Assist in training, development of materials, and providing resources for the sales force
• Assist in executing marketing plans for development of promotions and sales materials, introduction of new items, development and execution of market specific plans
• Inform and work with the advertising agency to develop advertising, selling materials and training materials

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have a valid work Visa
• Must be willing to relocate to the Austin, MN area
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field
• 2-4 Years of previous experience in sales or product management, preferably in the foodservice industry
