Palm Beach Gardens, FL (RestaurantNews.com) Monday, May 7 will mark the reveal of this year’s James Beard Award winners in New York City. In honor of this occasion, James Beard Award winner Chef Allen Susser, recognized as “The Ponce de Leon of Floridian cooking” by The New York Times, has orchestrated his inaugural Chef Reunion Dinner to be held on May 7 at Trio on the Bay in North Bay Village. Bringing together star alumni chefs that he has mentored from Palm Beach to South Beach, the event will be an open to the public culinary tribute.
With all event proceeds benefiting the James Beard Foundation, this momentous occasion will kick off with an exclusive VIP reception at 6:30 p.m. featuring the presence of previous James Beard Award-winning influential chefs including Doug Rodriguez.
Guests will then have the unique opportunity to indulge in the signature cuisines of Chef Allen’s alumni chefs in the South Florida area. VIP guests will get to try Chef Allen’s signature 24-inch hand rolled breadsticks that were made famous at his Aventura mainstay, Chef Allen’s.

Tickets will be on sale for $150 for general admission and $175 for the exclusive 50 person VIP reception showcasing other talented James Beard Award recipients. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the James Beard Foundation, dedicated to celebrating, nurturing, and preserving America’s diverse culinary heritage and future.
