New Franchisee, Jack Evola, Signed First Franchise Agreement to Bring Cousins Subs to Orlando
Menomonee Falls, WI (RestaurantNews.com) Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs® today announced they will be unwrapping a new store in Orlando, Fla. in 2012. Venezuelan native, Jack Evola, recently signed a franchise agreement with Cousins Subs, making the forthcoming store the first location in the state.
The Orlando Cousins Subs store will offer deli-style sandwiches with freshly sliced meats and vegetables, and will serve-up fries and grilled sandwiches. The new location will also feature a refreshed Cousins Subs store aesthetic and menu boards.
“Cousins Subs has always been interested in expanding into the Florida area,” said Vice President of Development, Joe Ferguson. “The Orlando market demonstrates ample growth opportunities for our accessible franchise system and we are thrilled that Jack can help us kick start our momentum in the area.”
To spark franchise growth, Cousins Subs recently announced a new Founders Program to make business ownership more affordable. The program is available to any franchisee making an initial multi-unit investment. In turn, Cousins Subs will reinvest all franchise fees – $25,000 for the first store and $17,500 for each additional store – into local store marketing for the property.
Cousins Subs is actively pursing investors interested in building quality of life through self-employment and enterprise development. With significant marketing investments system wide such as the Founders Program, Cousins Subs has reduced its franchisee capital requirement from $300K to $200K net worth. The company plans to open at least 15 new stores in 2012.

About Cousins Subs
Cousins Subs, based in Menomonee Falls in suburban Milwaukee, is a restaurant specializing in East Coast-style submarine sandwiches made with the finest ingredients served on a variety of freshly baked breads, along with salads, soups, chips and soft drinks. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East Coast-style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients. For more information, visit www.cousinssubs.com.
