Mark Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, is pleased to announce that Del Frisco’s recently donated $20,000 to “Camp Harbor View,” an organization created to offer children from at-risk neighborhoods in Boston a true summer camp experience. The donation was accepted by the camp’s founders Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Executive Vice President of Suffolk Construction, Peter Welsh, during a party to celebrate the grand opening of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House at Liberty Wharf.
“We are honored to become part of the Boston community,” said Mednansky. “Del Frisco’s is known for its heartfelt hospitality and our commitment to Camp Harbor View is an extension of that welcoming, gracious spirit.”
“Camp Harbor View not only exposes children to fun new activities, but also helps them develop the confidence and skills to become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Mayor Menino. “We are most grateful to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House for their generous donation and welcome them to the Boston community.”
