Del Taco’s burritos and tacos are making their mark on Mexican food lovers in Orlando. With the opening of the chain’s second restaurant in the city, the nation’s No. 2 Mexican quick serve brand is gaining ground to become the local Mexican favorite with a varied menu that offers great tasting food at a superior value.
Today, March 29, Del Taco franchisees Floridel LLC will open the newest Orlando Del Taco, located at 12025 Collegiate Way, close to the University of Central Florida. Floridel opened the state’s first Del Taco, located in Oviedo, last April.
“We think there’s a strong market for Del Taco’s great tasting food in the greater Orlando area,” said Steve Ruff, president of Floridel and long-time Del Taco fan. “We found Del Taco to be better and different from anything else out there and we think lovers of fast-food, especially the Mexican variety, will agree.”
For more than 40 years, Del Taco has been offering menu items that appeal to a broad range of tastes with a strong emphasis on quality and value. The menu includes Mexican offerings of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos as well as American favorites like hamburgers, fries and milk shakes. Each item is made to order with quality ingredients including lard-free beans made from scratch daily, real cheddar cheese grated on site, chicken grilled fresh every hour, hand-made salsa and fresh produce.
Del Taco operates or franchises more than 515 restaurants in 18 states. Additional information is available at www.deltaco.com.
