Dickey's Barbecue Throws Texas Style Celebration for PlainfieldPlainfield, IN  (RestaurantNews.com)  On Thursday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. Dickey’s in Plainfield will kick off the opening party. The first 50 dine-in customers who purchase an item on that day will receive a Dickey’s gift card loaded with up to $50.

“I’m looking forward to bringing a different type of restaurant to the Plainfield community,” said local owner Bruce Hazelgrove. “I know customers will love that we are family-owned, serve authentic Texas barbecue.”

Friday radio station 95.5 FM will be on site from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and there will be a drawing for a $500 gift card good at Dickey’s Barbecue and three winners will be chosen for free barbecue for a year. There will also be $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches. Saturday the fun goes on with a day full of merchandise giveaways.

Bruce and Patty Hazelgrove grew up in the Indiana area and Bruce most recently worked as a Construction Project Manager. The couple has three daughters and two grandchildren who will all help out in the restaurant. The franchisees opened a Dickey’s Barbecue for a new opportunity for community involvement. They both enjoy cooking and working in customer service.
