Double R Restaurant Group to Open Four "Another Broken Egg Cafés" in The CarolinasLafayette, LA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Double R Restaurant Group is pleased to announce four summer openings of Another Broken Egg Cafés in both North and South Carolina. In July, Another Broken Egg Café will open downtown at 99 S Market Street, Charleston, SC, 29401. It will be followed in North Carolina, with an opening in Southpark at 3920 Sharon Road, Ste 160, in Charlotte, NC 28211, which is slated for August 2013, with a second location in the Ballantyne area. Then the fourth ABE Café will open at Biltmore Park at 27 Schenck Parkway, Ste 100, Asheville, NC, 28803, in September.

Double R Restaurant Group is based in Lafayette, LA and is currently Another Broken Egg Cafe’s largest franchisee. With six units currently operating in Louisiana, Georgia and North Carolina, the company plans to open six new locations in 2013 and 2014. Aside from Another Broken Egg Cafe, they operate multiple concepts and are focused on expanding their brand into several different markets in Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia over the next five years. Another Broken Egg Café is an award-winning breakfast, lunch and brunch restaurant, well known and loved in the Florida Panhandle, Louisiana and beyond.  Ron Green founded the first ABE Café in 1996 on Girod Street in Old Mandeville, Louisiana. He undertook a two-year renovation of a 1908 Creole cottage, while developing his “egg-ceptional” menu and within two months, Green was breaking more than 1,400 eggs a week.

Another Broken Egg Café currently has 26 locations with more opening throughout 2013. It serves from 7 A.M. through 2 P.M. seven days a week, closing only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The restaurant offers 114 different menu choices including six varieties of Eggs Benedict, 11 different omelettes, including a Skinny Omelette, Belgian waffles, French toast, along with savory, unique burgers, hearty sandwiches and fresh salads.
