First restaurant under new store development agreement planned to open in 2019
Canton, MA (RestaurantNews.com) Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, announced today the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement to establish four Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Rochester, Minnesota market with existing franchisee Donut Kings, LLC. The group’s first restaurant under this agreement is planned to open in 2019.
Owners of Donut Kings, LLC, Oliver Schugel and David Schooff, signed an agreement last year to open three Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Mankato, Minnesota area. The first of these locations opened in March of this year. Oliver brings 25 years of business development, financial analysis, and multi-functional management and operations experience to the table, while David has 20 years of real estate development, strategic planning, and market knowledge in the area. James Trauger, who has several years of multi-unit retail experience, will serve as the operating partner during the expansion.

There are currently five Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants located in Minnesota, all of which serve the brand’s delicious menu of beverages and food. The company is continuing to recruit qualified franchisees in the Duluth, Minnesota region. To help fuel additional growth in the market, special development incentives are available.
