Hickory Tavern's 'Share the Love' Campaign Raises $5760 for Levine Children's Hospital via its February FundraiserCharlotte, NC  (RestaurantNews.comHickory Tavern® and its newly-created “Share the Love” campaign recently completed a month-long fundraiser with a donation of $5760 to Levine’s Children’s Hospital.

During the February campaign, the neighborhood restaurant with a sports passion raised the money by donating 10 percent of sales of its kids’ meals at its 13 Charlotte-area locations. Hickory Tavern officials presented the check in-person at the hospital.

Levine Children’s Hospital, part of Carolinas HealthCare System, serves as a beacon of hope in the Charlotte community and beyond and has been named a Best Children’s Hospital by US News and World Report for the past five years.

“Community involvement is a Hickory Tavern pillar because we believe being good neighbors and responsible corporate citizens is our business,” said Hickory Tavern CMO Thom Perez. “We were excited to launch ‘Share the Love’ by partnering with Levine Children’s Hospital, an organization that saves and improves the lives of our children.”

According to Mark Griffith, Director, Fund Development for Carolinas HealthCare Foundation, the money raised by Hickory Tavern will help carry on the hospital’s legacy as one of the premier healthcare institutions in the United States.

“Levine Children’s Hospital was built by the community, for the community, and thanks to friends like Hickory Tavern, we can expand our services and offer the absolute best medical care for local and regional families. We are grateful for Hickory Tavern’s support of Levine Children’s Hospital through their Share the Love Campaign,” said Griffith.
