Hurricane Grill & Wings today announced the appointment of Mark Snyder as Chief Operating Officer, Lisa Wynn Taylor as Vice President of Marketing, and Angie Kenyon as Senior Real Estate Consultant.

“Industry leaders Mark Snyder, Lisa Wynn Taylor and Angie Kenyon will each play a key role on our management team as the Company continues to expand nationwide with the award winning Hurricane Grill & Wings brand. It is an exciting time for our Company because we have rounded out our already strong management team with individuals who are highly experienced in strategically growing brands that are in high growth mode,’’ said Martin O’Dowd, President of Hurricane Grill & Wings. “We conducted a nationwide search to identify these new members of our management team, and we welcome them aboard.”

Mr. Snyder’s responsibilities include managing all Hurricane Grill & Wings operations, strategic menu planning, purchasing, and overseeing field business consultants, as well as owned and operated portfolio stores. Ms. Wynn Taylor will oversee marketing, advertising and public relations for the brand. Ms. Kenyon’s responsibilities include market planning, site selection, store design and construction.

Prior to joining Hurricane Grill & Wings as the Chief Operating Officer, Mark Snyder was a member of the management team at Carlson Companies for 28 years. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Operations for T.G.I. Friday’s, managing the West Division, which included 100 corporate stores and 125 franchised units with 18 ownership groups. Mr. Snyder also served as the Vice President of Franchising for T.G.I. Friday’s where he accepted the SPIRIT Award on behalf of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide. The honor was awarded by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and Nation’s Restaurant News, and according to the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the award recognized companies that “demonstrated their dedication and devotion to their workforce, realizing that they are the true ‘spirit’ of the industry.” During his time at Carlson Companies, Mr. Snyder also served as the Vice President of Operations for the Midwest division of T.G.I. Friday’s, where he managed 90 restaurant locations.

Ms. Lisa Wynn Taylor brings over 20 years of extensive branding, marketing and social media experience to the Hurricane Grill & Wings team. Most recently, Ms. Wynn Taylor led the brand strategy and marketing communications efforts for restaurant and retail brands at the Atlanta, Georgia-based Kwarren Advertising & Public Relations. There, she served as the Vice President of Strategic Development where she spearheaded the company’s digital marketing branch, which included digital technologies and social media. Prior to her agency experience, Ms. Wynn Taylor led division sales and marketing in the restaurant business for 10 years. Working with national brands, such as Taco Bell and Burger King, Ms. Wynn Taylor specialized in developing strategies to address rapidly changing consumer taste preferences and introduced premium product platforms, as well as expanded value menus and dayparts.

Angie Kenyon joins Hurricane Grill & Wings as the Senior Real Estate Consultant. Ms. Kenyon brings over 15 years of restaurant industry experience, and prior to joining the Hurricane Grill & Wings team, she served as the Director of Development for industry giants, such as Starbucks Coffee, Dunkin’ Brands and Burger King. Amongst her notable accomplishments, Ms. Kenyon opened 231 Starbucks Coffee locations within two fiscal years, strategized franchisee expansion and development for the Burger King brand, and executed the multi-branding concept of Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Togo’s under one parent company.
