Popular chain welcomed second Houston-area restaurant Monday
Houston, TX (RestaurantNews.com) An epic comeback story is being written about the iconic Bennigan’s restaurant chain, and an exciting new chapter is unfolding this week in Katy, Texas.
The newest Bennigan’s officially opened its doors at 20210 Katy Freeway on Monday, Sept. 22. It is the second restaurant in the greater Houston area owned by franchisee Mohammad Amin, who also operates the location in Shenandoah, Texas.
“We’ve been looking to expand Bennigan’s footprint in the Houston area for some time, and the Katy location seemed perfect,” said Amin. “Our Shenandoah restaurant has proven that the Bennigan’s brand is as popular as ever. The Katy restaurant, which has added more than 100 new full- and part-time jobs to the local economy, features chef-driven, freshly prepared food made-to-order; a new beverage menu showcasing 21 delicious, on-trend cocktails with craveable flavor profiles alongside the restaurant’s mainstay beer, wine and non-alcoholic selections; and 10 large flat-screen televisions in the bar and dining areas.
