Joining the Mama Fu’s executive team with over fifteen years of experience in all aspects of the foodservice industry, Hester adds dynamic leadership skills, a deep understanding of the industry, and proven track record implementing operational and sales strategies.

A graduate from The University of Texas with an undergraduate and Master’s Degree in accounting, Hester began his career in public accounting auditing Sysco. He then joined Sysco where he quickly became a Divisional Controller at various operating companies throughout the United States. He also served as Corporate Controller for Schlotzsky’s Inc. during its high growth cycle, and was most recently the Controller and CFO for an Austin-based Wendy’s Franchisee. John is a Certified Public Accountant and resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children.
