McDonald’s honors Ocala manager with top award

Sue Lawson, an employee and manager for Ocala-area McDonald’s units for some 35 years, recently was named one of the best managers in the entire fast-food giant’s U.S. system.
As a recipient of the Ray Kroc Award, Lawson is ranked among the top 1 percent of McDonald’s managers. Currently, the chain boasts about 13,000 restaurants nationwide.
“This is huge in the McDonald’s world,” says Allison Quesnel, a district manager for Pacific Arches that owns seven Ocala-area units. “Sue is one of a kind; a great store manager with lots of vision and dedication to McDonald’s high standards on quality, cleanliness, service and value.
“She takes to heart everything the Arches stand for.”
