Atlanta, GA (RestaurantNews.com) Naranga, LLC, the second-largest provider of franchise operations software, announced today the appointment of Mark Montini, CFE, as chief executive officer. Tariq Farid, the founder and CEO of Edible Arrangements and Naranga, will transition his role as Naranga’s CEO to serve as Chairman of Naranga’s Board of Directors.
“Mark’s passion for delivering world-class customer service, his track-record of innovation, and knowledge of franchising made him an exceptional fit for Naranga,” said Farid. “He has a refreshing, modern approach to leadership that’s proven incredibly effective delivering results and attracting top talent in the technology space. He’s the right person to lead Naranga as we aggressively pursue our vision of driving greater success for franchisees by providing the best technology to franchisors.”
Montini, a certified franchise executive, brings to Naranga a history of successfully leveraging technology to help national brands drive better results for their local affiliates. He was the founder and CEO of Promio, an automated franchise marketing platform that tracked franchisees’ exact return on investment related to their local marketing campaigns. Montini sold Promio in October 2016. Prior to Promio, Montini started and led companies that built the first national-to-local CRM for non-profits and the first national-to-local website building platform.
“The Naranga team has a well-deserved reputation for providing outstanding client service, and its technology truly outshines their competitors in franchising. The company is well positioned to provide franchisors and franchisees a more innovative and results-driven technology solution than what’s currently available,” said Montini. “Franchising is unique business model. It enables so many people to realize their dream of business ownership and plays a critical role in the world economy. I’m honored to have an opportunity to continue to serve such amazing and inspiring business leaders.”
Tom Wood, CEO for Floor Coverings International, said of Montini’s appointment “Mark is one of the most innovative thinkers in franchising. His ideas and strategies have delivered significant and measurable results for our business. I’m excited to see the impact he can have on the entire franchise industry in his new role with Naranga.”
