Newk's Eatery Set to Move onto Palm Beach Dining Scene This Fall

Local family to open first of 10 restaurants planned for Palm Beach and Broward Counties

Newk's Eatery Set to Move onto Palm Beach Dining Scene This FallJackson, MS  (RestaurantNews.com)  This fall, Newk’s Eatery – a fast-casual restaurant brand known for its bold flavors and fresh ingredients – is moving onto the Palm Beach dining scene. Construction is now underway at the area’s first Newk’s restaurant which is scheduled to open its doors in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in early fall. The franchise group behind this latest expansion is a family of seasoned restaurateurs with local ties and a feel for local flavor.

“With a freshness that’s hard to come by and homemade meals that are as flavorful as they are inventive, Newk’s Eatery is a brand we believe will really resonate with local diners,” said Pat Tracy, Newk’s Eatery franchisee. “Our family’s heart is a local one – with each of us having at one point called Palm Beach County home – and Newk’s is the kind of brand we’ve been looking to bring into the area, delivering a dining experience that’s convenient, welcoming and high-quality.”

Newk’s Palm Beach Gardens restaurant will open at 11345 Legacy Place Avenue – the first of 10 Newk’s Eateries planned for Southeastern Florida by Pat Tracy and his team, consisting of his father Tom and brothers Matt and Ryan. Prior to Newk’s, the Tracy family opened the first Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurants in Palm Beach County, going on to franchise eight Five Guys locations in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties. They have since also opened an independent American-fare restaurant concept, Red’s Table, in Virginia.

Sourcing the finest, freshest ingredients – including imported cheeses and prime meats, hand-chopped seasonal vegetables and homemade dressings – Newk’s guarantees every meal is served fresh and fast. The restaurant handcrafts each of its fresh-tossed salads, artisan pizzas, hot-toasted sandwiches, kettle batch soups and scratch-made desserts in its signature open-view kitchens, drawing from the family recipes of its founding family, the Newcombs.

The Jackson, Miss.-based chain is planning to open as many as 30 new company-owned and franchised locations in the Sunshine State over the next five years with plans to reach a national total of 200 units by 2019.
