Los Angeles, CA (RestaurantNews.com) PizzaRev announced the opening of its second international franchise location in Mexico, in San Pedro Garza García, N.L. It’s the second of 20 PizzaRev restaurants to be developed by Grupo Galería throughout Mexico City and the states of Mexico, Nuevo León and Coahuila. The group’s first location opened in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico in April 2016.
“PizzaRev has received rave reviews in Monterrey; with homemade dough, more than 30 fresh-cut toppings and vegan and gluten-free options, we are changing our guests’ perception of pizza,” said CEO of Grupo Galería, Antonio Barceló. “We’re proud to introduce fast-casual pizza to our country, and we’re eager to expand this faster, more healthful pizza experience to more of the communities we serve.”
Grupo Galería currently owns and operates an expansive restaurant portfolio throughout Mexico, including a food distribution center and 46 Carl’s Jr., four Buffalo Wild Wings and five IHOP restaurants. The group opened the first international Buffalo Wild Wings outside of Canada and was the first to bring IHOP to Mexico more than 10 years ago.
