Einstein Noah Restaurant Group announced the appointment of John Coletta as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 21, 2013. Coletta will assume the position formerly held by Manny Hilario, who was appointed Chief Operations Officer in July.  Coletta has over 25 years of experience in finance, strategy and executive management in restaurants, hospitality, retail & development. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Quiznos.

Quaker Steak & Lube has hired chef Andre David Halston as the company’s corporate chef. Chef Andre will join The Lube beginning Oct. 21, 2013 and bring his deep culinary experience and creativity to a menu focused on traditional American cuisine with the signature Lube twist.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has tapped Michael Kaplan as senior vice president and chief legal officer.  Kaplan will be responsible for oversight of all legal matters for Red Robin, including risk management, compliance and corporate governance.

Atlanta-based Huddle House continues its brand evolution with the addition of Chief Marketing Officer, Alison Delaney, to build on the company’s growth momentum.  Delaney, who holds a 30-year track record of implementing needle-moving marketing campaigns with brands such as Ruby Tuesday, Carlson Restaurants’ Pick Up Stix and TGIFriday’s, and Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill, will create and leverage a competitive value proposition that will engage guests in a new way with Huddle House.

Atif Rafiq will join McDonald’s in the newly-created global role of Chief Digital Officer, effective October 21. Rafiq, 40, comes to McDonald’s from senior-level positions at Amazon.com and Yahoo!  In this position, Rafiq will lead McDonald’s global digital strategy focusing on future growth in e-commerce, modernizing the restaurant experience, and engaging with consumers across the digital landscape.

Twin Peaks recently announced two executive promotions as the ultimate man-cave continues its rapid national expansion. Tim Timbs has been named Vice President of Supply Chain Management and Shannon Glaser has taken on a new role to become Senior Director of Franchise and Development.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain, announced two executive moves to support the brand’s strong growth. Michael Mabry, who formerly served as Director of Franchise Sales will now spearhead MOOYAH’s franchise development and operations as Vice President of Operations/Franchise Development. Additionally, Carrie Evans, who most recently left a 7-year tenure at CiCi’s Pizza, has joined the team as Franchise Development Manager.

CiCi’s Pizza named Richard Hoying as its new sr. manager of real estate. Hoying, a veteran real estate and franchise executive with more than 25 years of experience, will support CiCi’s strategic growth strategy through real estate development in domestic and international markets as well as in nontraditional venues.  Among additional responsibilities, Hoying will also leverage broker relations to support corporate and franchise growth and will lead franchisees through the real estate development process.

Ray Risley has been promoted to vice president of operations and will lead the management and growth of all 19 Sullivan’s Steakhouse restaurants across the country.  A key executive who has been very successful with Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group for nearly 15 years, Risley has helped build the national prominence of all three brands within the company:  Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House and Del Frisco’s Grille.

Papa John’s International announced the hiring of Bob Kraut as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Kraut, a transformative marketing leader joins Papa John’s after most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing and Advertising, at Arby’s Restaurant Group.
