Coletta will assume the position formerly held by Manny Hilario, who was appointed Chief Operations Officer in July. Coletta has over 25 years of experience in finance, strategy and executive management in restaurants, hospitality, retail & development. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Quiznos.
Quaker Steak & Lube has hired chef Andre David Halston as the company’s corporate chef. Chef Andre will join The Lube beginning Oct. 21, 2013 and bring his deep culinary experience and creativity to a menu focused on traditional American cuisine with the signature Lube twist.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has tapped Michael Kaplan as senior vice president and chief legal officer. Kaplan will be responsible for oversight of all legal matters for Red Robin, including risk management, compliance and corporate governance.

Atif Rafiq will join McDonald’s in the newly-created global role of Chief Digital Officer, effective October 21. Rafiq, 40, comes to McDonald’s from senior-level positions at Amazon.com and Yahoo! In this position, Rafiq will lead McDonald’s global digital strategy focusing on future growth in e-commerce, modernizing the restaurant experience, and engaging with consumers across the digital landscape.

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain, announced two executive moves to support the brand’s strong growth. Michael Mabry, who formerly served as Director of Franchise Sales will now spearhead MOOYAH’s franchise development and operations as Vice President of Operations/Franchise Development. Additionally, Carrie Evans, who most recently left a 7-year tenure at CiCi’s Pizza, has joined the team as Franchise Development Manager.
CiCi’s Pizza named Richard Hoying as its new sr. manager of real estate. Hoying, a veteran real estate and franchise executive with more than 25 years of experience, will support CiCi’s strategic growth strategy through real estate development in domestic and international markets as well as in nontraditional venues. Among additional responsibilities, Hoying will also leverage broker relations to support corporate and franchise growth and will lead franchisees through the real estate development process.
Ray Risley has been promoted to vice president of operations and will lead the management and growth of all 19 Sullivan’s Steakhouse restaurants across the country. A key executive who has been very successful with Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group for nearly 15 years, Risley has helped build the national prominence of all three brands within the company: Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House and Del Frisco’s Grille.
