The parent company of Shane’s Rib Shack and Planet Smoothie, Petrus Brands, has named a new Executive Vice President of Marketing. Gloria Garrett will take charge of all marketing campaigns for the company, including research and growth initiatives. She came to the position from a brand management career for Olive Garden.
A new Scooter’s Coffeehouse has been announced by ARC Holdings. The drive-thru kiosk is being built in Omaha, Nebraska and will be the 36th store in the area. This brings the total for the chain to nearly 90 locations operating in seven states. 25 customers will win free drinks for a year by entering during the grand opening celebration.
Indianapolis now has a new option for California-style pizza. The newest California Pizza Kitchen opened in the Indiana capital in Circle Centre Mall. This Midwestern location features a number of unique menu items, including Crispy Mac N’ Cheese, a Roasted Vegetable Salad and Habanero Carnitas Pizza.
