Restaurant owners share food with less fortunate

The night before Thanksgiving, about 100 Montgomery Village residents will feast on rotisserie chicken, pita bread and salad.

For 20 years, the Angelakises have been cooking 25 meals the day before Thanksgiving at Athen’s Grill and then passing them to families who are in need.

“These are families who may have nothing,” Dimitri Angelakis said. “I want to put something on the table because it is a day to say thanks to God.”
