Restaurants Offering Thanksgiving Meals for Carryout

According to the National Restaurant Association, 4 million Americans plan to order a full takeout Thanksgiving meal from a restaurant this year, while 14 million plan to order parts of their Thanksgiving meal to be eaten at home.

Following is a selection of restaurant chains offering full Thanksgiving meals, or select items, for carryout.  Please be sure to call ahead as some options sell out early.

Bob Evans will be open Thanksgiving from 7 am until 2 pm, but the chain is also offering its popular heat and serve Farmhouse Feast . The Feast serves up to eight, comes complete with your choice of a slow-roasted whole boneless turkey breast or sliced boneless ham, bread and celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, buttered sweet corn, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls, a loaf of pumpkin bread and a pumpkin pie with whipped topping.  The Bob Evans Farmhouse Feast is available in two sizes: serving up to four for just $49.99, or for larger families up to eight people for $79.99 (prices may vary by location). Additional servings of turkey or ham, bread, savory sides and desserts may be added a la carte.

Boston Market will be open Thanksgiving and offers a variety of holiday meal options.  In addition to Hot & Ready Catered Buffets and A la Carte items, Oven to Table Holiday Meals are available which can feed up to 12.  Oven to Table meals and Catering orders can be placed until 2 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.

Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurants are open, but is also taking Thanksgiving To Go orders.  Buca’s Thanksgiving Feast inlcudes Turkey, Sausage Stuffing, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans and Cranberry Sauce.  Buca is also offering Half Party Pans which servers up to 10 people, and Full Party Pans which serve up to 20 people.  Thanksgiving To Go orders must be placed and confirmed by 9 pm on Monday, Nov. 25th.

Cowboy Chicken Wood Fire Rotisserie will be closed Thanksgiving, but guests may order ahead for the big day.  Cowboy Chicken has brought back their popular holiday Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkey for a limited time, but call early as they sell out every year.  In addition, the chain is offering a Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkey Holiday Package, which feeds between eight to ten guests and features a 10-12 pound Wood Fire Rotisserie Turkey, Twice Baked Potaters, a Wild West Side, Country Style Stuffing, 12 dinner rolls, and Southern Blackberry Cobbler, all for $84.95.

Cracker Barrel is serving up Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go from Nov. 23 through Dec. 1.  The Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go serves up to six people and includes turkey n’ dressing meal, gravy, sampling of sugar-cured baked ham, choice of three vegetables, cranberry relish, and made-from-scratch biscuits, corn muffins or a loaf of sourdough bread.  Freshly baked Pumpkin Pecan Streusel and Pumpkin Pies are also available.  Please call ahead at least 24 hours in advance to order.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit offers many holiday meal options this year.  Guests can order whole Smoked or Cajun-Fried Turkeys, as well as Barbecue Honey or Spiral Cut Honey Hams.  The nation’s largest barbecue chain also offers many complete holiday meal options.  Guests can call ahead or order online.

HoneyBaked Ham offers its signature Honey Baked Ham and Smoked or Roasted Turkey Breasts, all fully cooked and ready to serve.  To complete your meal with time to spare, HoneyBaked offers more than 20 side dishes and premium desserts.

Luby’s offers an extensive selection of holiday meals, side items and A la Carte selections.  Choices include Roasted Prime Rib, Whole Roasted Turkey Breast, Spiral Cut Ham, Whole Roasted Turkey, Whole Smoked Turkey, Whole Deep Fried Turkey and much more.

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que offers individual Thanksgiving Dinners to go served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Southern Stuffing, Apples Sauteed in Jack Daniels, Giblet Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Biscuits with Apple Butter and Sweet Potato Pie.  Lucille’s Thanksgiving Day catering menu includes a choice of Smoked Sliced Turkey and/or Marinated Ham with all the fixings.  Guests can also order Hickory Smoked Whole Turkeys.

Maggiano’s Thanksgiving Day Carryout Package includes choice of salads, sides, desserts and pastas.  Entrees include Traditional Roast Turkey Breast, Country-Style Baked Nueske Ham and Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia.  Carryout orders must be placed by Monday, November 25th.

Max & Erma’s will be open Thanksgiving Day for dine-in, but guests can also order the chain’s Thanksgiving meal for carryout.  Guests can also order from the regular Max & Erma’s menu.

Mimi’s Cafe will be open for dine-in on Thanksgiving Day, but will also offer Holiday Feasts To-Go and “Just the Sides” To-Go options.  Holiday Feasts To-Go Turkey and Ham selections come with assorted side items and can feed six to eight people.  “Just the Sides” serve six to eight people and include Mashed Potatoes, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Turkey Gravy, Cornbread Stuffing, Cranberry Relish and Fresh Broccoli.  Just reheat and enjoy.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House offers your favorite side items to-go. Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Beans with Roasted Garlic and Creamed Spinach are all available in family-sized portions for $29.95.
