Same-store sales at premium smoothie and juice franchise increase for 28 consecutive months
Los Angeles, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Robeks premium smoothie and juice franchise is experiencing a growth spurt that’s lasted for over two years, and there’s no end in sight. Same-store sales have risen for 28 consecutive months at an overall average revenue increase of 12.5% during that time.
The sustained spike in growth has been driven by many factors – a rising awareness of the Robeks brand nationwide, successful and ongoing rollouts of popular new menu items, an ever-increasing demand for convenient products made with the healthiest, freshed and highest- quality ingredients and the exploding popularity of fresh-squeezed juices.
Robeks has always offered fresh-squeezed juices, but has vastly expanded its juice menu to meet the demand for more green vegetable juices. The results have been dramatic. Juice sales have doubled at the franchise overall and tripled in some locations.
Robeks’ new Next Generation design, which debuted earlier this year, is also creating tremendous momentum. The franchise-wide overhaul includes a smaller and more efficiently designed store prototype. The 1,000-square-foot New Generation footprint makes it easier for store owners to find quality locations and gives them the ability to expand to non-traditional spaces, such as yoga studios or within other retail stores.
The first Next Generation stores include three new Robeks in Philadelphia, PA, and Costa Mesa/Orange County, CA, and remodeled stores in Monrovia, CA, and Culver City, CA.
“We’re experiencing a dynamic and exciting time at Robeks,” says Chief Marketing Officer Chad Bailey. “The growing health food market, combined with the endorsement of educated consumers and the demand for convenient and nutritious alternatives to fast food, has created a huge opportunity for our continued expansion.”
“Healthy and convenient eating has become much more than a passing trend; it’s something consumers now expect,” Chad continues. “In fact, the National Restaurant Association reports that 71% of adults are trying to eat healthier at restaurants than they did two years ago. Robeks is perfectly positioned at the ‘sweet spot’ of the smoothie and juice industry. We’ve been studying and responding to what customers want for almost two decades and have a well-earned reputation as the premium brand in the industry.”
Robeks smoothie and juice franchise was founded in Los Angeles in 1996 and has over 100 stores nationwide and has locations in California, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Connecticut, Missouri, Illinois, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Most recently the franchise announced expansion to New York City, the Philadelphia, PA region, Japan and Qatar.
