Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, announces an agreement with a multi-unit developer for three locations in the Dallas, TX area. The first Saladworks location in this market is slated to open in 2011.
New franchisees Juli Reiserer and Michael Lyall signed on with the Saladworks system after reading about Saladworks’ success in Entrepreneur Magazine. Saladworks is ranked as the Nation’s #1 Salad Franchise by the publication. Reiserer, a restaurant marketing representative by trade, and Lyall, a former member of the United States Air Force, decided to go into franchising together to bring a healthy restaurant concept to the North Dallas area.
“We’re excited to be the first to bring Saladworks to Texas,” Lyall said. “The concept is so successful on the east coast, that we know it will translate well here.”
“Juli and Michael exude the Saladworks culture and we are excited to watch them bring our fresh, healthy concept to North Dallas,” said Saladworks’ Founder/CEO, John Scardapane. “After I toured the market for sites with Juli and Michael, we were amazed of the strong retail opportunity for Saladworks’ expansion in Dallas.”
“The three store deal is a minimum for us – we’re definitely looking to expand throughout Texas,” Reiserer said.
