A Brooklyn-Italian-style bakery and restaurant in the heart of Hillsboro Village, Savarino’s Cucina knows how to make regulars feel special.
Order the same sandwich often enough, and owner Corrado Savarino Sr., 47, might name it after you.
“The rules of the menu are that the person must be Italian and no girls allowed,’’ he said, with a smile. “They say I can’t have a sandwich since my name is on the restaurant building.’’
Savarino commutes from Franklin to the Village every morning with his only employees: wife Maria and adult children Carmelo and Francesca. His 7-year-old son Corrado Jr. joins them in the afternoon after school.
