Motorists traveling on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard likely are finding it hard to miss the bold new look of an 8,000 square-foot building fronting the east side of the busy thoroughfare, about one mile north of Interstate 75.
Senor T’s has taken the place of what once was the Macaroni Grill at 17641 Bruce B. Downs, near the intersection of Highwoods Preserve Parkway.
Making its debut on Black Friday, the restaurant is being billed as a new-fashioned, modern day Mexican grill and tequila bar, in contrast to aging Mexican eateries launched in yesteryear.
“You can feel the energy, it’s very festive,” said Senor T’s Operations Partner Dewayne Bracy, who played a major role in re-designing the interior that includes rich oak panels interspersed with cedar wood slats, separated by narrow rows of recessed miniature clear-colored lights that purposefully play into the restaurant’s party-like atmosphere.
