Atlanta, GA  (RestaurantNews.com)  Taffer’s Tavern, the innovative restaurant concept created by award-winning hospitality expert and world-renowned business consultant Jon Taffer, signed a lease to open its first franchise location in the nation in downtown Alpharetta, Georgia. Located at 33 South Main Street, Taffer’s Tavern is situated in the Liberty Hall building directly across from City Hall and is anticipated to open by February 2020. 

The concept’s Georgia franchise partner, Five Guys Taverns, LLC, comprises a group of highly experienced franchisees and developers – one partner of which is the CEO of Chandlee and Sons Construction, the construction company responsible for designing popular Atlanta dining spots like Big Sky Buckhead and Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall. After signing a multi-unit franchise deal with Taffer’s Tavern earlier this year, Five Guys Taverns, LLC, aims to open four additional units across the state.

The new Alpharetta restaurant boasts high vaulted ceilings and combines modern architecture with old-world tavern charm, including the main bar, which was built in the 1700s and imported from England.
