Served on Thursday, November 22, the gourmet dining experience combines the ease of a lavish starter and sweets buffets complemented with individually plated main courses and family style sides. The sophisticated fine dining holiday dining event is served from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., and includes live musical entertainment plus freshly carved turkey to take home for delicious leftovers the next day. Reservations lines open on Friday, Sept. 7th.
The holiday menu begins with a mouthwatering buffet filled with starters including American freshwater caviar, smoked salmon, charcuterie, squash bisque, mini quiche, seasonal vegetables, bruschetta, fresh salads, and a selection of fruits, cheeses and chutneys.
When guests are ready for the main course, they select one or more generous entrées which are plated and served directly from the kitchen. The traditional menu entrées include slow roasted turkey with mushroom gravy accompanied by shaved broccoli and cauliflower. Other options include braised pork served with caramelized apples and Brussels sprouts, or prime rib with roasted carrots and natural jus. Fresh seared sea scallops with baby fennel and orange miso butter will delight guests looking for a new take on tradition while those seeking vegetarian options will enjoy the squash gnocchi with sage brown butter sauce.
Family-style side dishes delivered to each table pair perfectly with the entrees and include Yukon gold whipped potatoes and gravy; whipped sweet potatoes with pecan crumble and bourbon syrup; traditional sausage stuffing; vegetarian stuffing; cranberry chutney and jellied cranberry.
To top it all off, an enticing sweets buffet houses many delicious temptations including pumpkin cheesecake with toasted walnuts, pecan pie squares, classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and an a la mode action station where guests can top their favorite pie with a scoop of their favorite flavor of ice cream.
