Supperland now has an official opening day. The Plaza Midwood restaurant will open March 3 — after facing numerous delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are pushing forward as quickly as we can,” says Jamie Brown. “We knew we’ve got to get open.”
Pittsburgh, PA – Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey, a restaurant that started in Asheville, North Carolina, but has taken its approach to Southern cuisine to nearly 20 locations throughout the country, has committed to opening its first location in Pennsylvania in a 5,000-square-foot location within the Freight House Shops at Station Square, according to an announcement by CBRE, which represents Station Square.
Plano, TX – BoomerJack’s Grill & Bar
BoomerJack’s Grill & Bar once again enlisted the help of Harrison – a Dallas-based, award-winning architecture and design firm – to bring the brand’s vision to life for its new Plano location. Located at 5430 State Hwy. 121, the new 9,432-square-foot restaurant features an all-season, dog-friendly patio with a container bar and plenty of seating. The expansive patio also has cooling and heating systems, ensuring a comfortable environment for all. The completed restaurant features vintage industrial interior design with a retro theme complete with dark wood and leather. BoomerJack’s is set to open its doors in mid-February.
Lynn Haven, FL – Slim Chickens
Slim Chickens announced its new restaurant opening at 2915 Highway 77 in Lynnhaven, Florida. North Florida Restaurant Group, a seasoned restaurant group, is at the helm of the new location.
Houston, TX – Georgia James Tavern
Chris Shepherd is moving beyond Montrose in a major way. Shepherd is opening a new restaurant spinoff called Georgia James Tavern in downtown Houston, his Underbelly Hospitality restaurant group’s first venture outside of H-Town’s most eclectic neighborhood.
Leawood, KS – Plate Restaurant
AREA Real Estate Advisors, CBRE and KBS, one of the largest investors in premier commercial real estate in the nation, have announced that Plate Restaurant is expanding its footprint with a second location at Park Place Village. The property is a 483,984 square foot mixed-use retail and office property located in Leawood, Kansas owned by KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III.
