Wingstop Flies into Minneapolis
Chicken wing chain to meet with potential franchisees in Minneapolis August 29-30
Richardson, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Wingstop, the 500+ national wing chain, has announced the company plans to add its first restaurants in Minnesota, beginning with Minneapolis.
Wingstop representatives will be in Minneapolis August 29-30 to meet one-on-one with potential franchisees about expansion opportunities.
“We believe Minneapolis is a perfect market for Wingstop. Our restaurants have a very loyal fan following which creates a lot of potential for expansion,” said Bev Rich, senior director of franchise development for Wingstop. “That, coupled with the simple operating platform of cooked-to-order wings and fresh-cut fries makes Wingstop an ideal concept for entrepreneurs and multi-unit operators in the city.”
Wingstop was founded in 1994 and began franchising in 1997. Today, 95 percent of the company’s 500+ locations are franchise owned and operated, and same store sales have increased for eight consecutive years.
With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, strips and Glider sandwiches in 10 flavors, and homemade side dishes like fresh-cut, seasoned fries.
To schedule a one-on-one meeting to learn more about development opportunities, contact Bev Rich at email@example.com, 972-331-8487 or visit www.wingstopfranchise.com.
A minimum net worth of $400,000 and liquid capital of $200,000 is required.
Headquartered in Richardson, Texas, Wingstop has more than 500 restaurants open across the United States and Mexico. The Wingstop menu features 10 wing flavors including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory Smoked BBQ and the newest offering, Louisiana Rub. Wings are made fresh, cooked-to-order and customers can also choose from homemade side dishes including Wingstop’s award winning fresh-cut seasoned fries. Wingstop has experienced eight consecutive years of positive sales increases, was named a Top 10 Best Franchise Deal by QSR magazine and voted ‘best wings’ in markets across the country. Troy Aikman, three-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Fame quarterback, has served as the chain’s national spokesman since 2003 and recently joined the Wingstop Board of Directors.
