Wolfgang Puck’s CUT Las Vegas Debuts iPad Wine List
Wolfgang Puck’s critically acclaimed, award-winning restaurant CUT is proud to introduce its new iPad wine list in the Las Vegas location at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. The restaurant already known for raising the bar within the fine dining industry is raising standards again, by utilizing the latest in mobile technology to showcase its outstanding wine list and globally renowned cuisine. The introduction of the iPad wine list in Las Vegas underscores Wolfgang Puck’s reputation as a groundbreaker in the culinary world. CUT Las Vegas is the first restaurant in the city to feature this technology.
The iPad displays the entire beverage list including wine selections, cocktails and spirits and is delivered to the table when guests arrive. CUT currently features 10 iPad tablets utilizing the wine application SmartCellar designed by the company Incentient. The SmartCellar system offers an interactive approach to displaying the wine list and allows sommeliers to modernize their approach to educating and arming their guests with the insight to help guide their selections and maximize enjoyment of their dining experience.
“CUT is our ultra brand so we want to be particularly progressive when it comes to the guest experience,” said Tim Wilson, beverage director for the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group. “It will be evolutionary in every aspect and will eventually display wine labels as well as suggestions on wine and food pairings.”
The CUT wine list includes more than 500 selections focusing mainly on wines produced in the United States, France, Italy, Spain and Australia. In addition to an emphasis on robust red wines, the list also features a strong selection of white wines from the best growing regions in the world.
