A slice of Arby’s new Triple Thick Brown Sugar Bacon is nearly a quarter of an inch thick, more than three times the girth of a typical slice, making the brand’s newest menu item aptly named and incredibly delicious. “We used a calculator and a tape measure to confirm that our Triple Thick Brown Sugar Bacon is indeed three times the thickness of a standard piece of bacon,” said Rob Lynch, Brand President and Chief Marketing Officer of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. “It’s a modern marvel and I’m not sure how humankind is going to resist this bacon.”
The new sandwich lineup includes Turkey, Roast Beef and Half Pound Club (turkey & smoked ham) options topped with three slices of Triple Thick Brown Sugar Bacon, and a BLT that houses five slices. Each slice of Triple Thick Brown Sugar Bacon is hand coated with brown sugar and baked in-restaurant. The sandwiches are served on a new buttery brioche bun.
Arby’s is no stranger to bacon innovation. Seasoned with black pepper and baked in-restaurant daily, the brand’s everyday bacon offering is anything but. In 2015, Arby’s introduced Brown Sugar Bacon accompanied by the launch of the original Vegetarian Support Hotline.
