Award-Winning Franchise Ranked as One of the Fastest Growing Small Chains in the U.S.
The magazine’s annual round up of The Future 50 was compiled through date from the Chicago research firm Technomic. All rankings are based on total percentage change in system wide sales from 2012 to 2013. East Coast Wings & Grill brought in $32.6 million in system wide sales, a 17 percent increase from the following year. In addition, the franchise also averaged $1.3 million in sales at a unit level.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the top 50 fastest growing small chains,” said Sam Ballas, CEO of East Coast Wings & Grill. “As the brand continues to grow, we have found that
conservative growth strategies can be the ultimate game-changer for unlimited growth potential when implemented the right way. We have established a recession-proof business model focused on maximizing profitability at the unit level and spending quality time working on franchisee and unit-style issues before growing a new unit.”
East Coast Wings & Grill places a heavy focus on success at a unit level. Through the company’s Unit-Level Economics/Quality Assurance Division, each franchisee is given a structured support system to help them succeed. In continuing with non-conventional protocol, the franchise also de-emphasizes the sales of alcohol, primarily focusing on their award-winning menu items as point of sales.
With its 75 flavors and 675 combinations of buffalo wings, East Coast Wings & Grill is far from the norm in the chicken wing segment. With a focus on great-tasting, freshly prepared food for families, deviating from the standard alcohol-driven environment typical of wing concepts, the flourishing brand creates a warm and inviting environment that leaves customers feeling a sense of community. East Coast Wings & Grill’s six-page menu also includes casual dining features including burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.
