Eggs Up Grill to Open First of Three Restaurants in Memphis this SummerSpartanburg, SC  (RestaurantNews.comEggs Up Grill, a rapidly growing breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, will open a new restaurant in Germantown, Tenn., this summer. Located at 9155 Poplar Avenue, the restaurant is the first of three Eggs Up Grill restaurants in development in the Memphis area; this is the second Eggs Up Grill restaurant in Tennessee. Dana McCubbin is the franchisee in partnership with Roseann Heckendorf and Wayland Rice.

McCubbin and her husband Lamar are long-time residents of Collierville and first visited Eggs Up Grill in North Carolina and immediately noticed the cheerful service and happy team members. They felt it was an ideal business opportunity to bring home to Memphis, and specifically Germantown, where there is a growing need for a better breakfast option. McCubbin formally owned a marketing firm and has spent the last few years raising her family. Her husband currently serves as president of Sissy’s Log Cabin in Memphis.

“What we are bringing to the community is much more than breakfast, it’s a faith-based culture and experience of family and community like no other,” said McCubbin. “Our goal is to enrich the lives of those around us, make customers feel like family and serve the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town.”

With indoor seating for 144, the 3,600 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home in a light, bright and cheery atmosphere.  The Germantown restaurant will serve guests seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dine-in, online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery options available. It will also have a private room available for larger groups or community gatherings called “The Coop.”

Eggs Up Grill caters events big or small, with a menu featuring breakfast favorites like eggs, grits, home fries, biscuits and gravy and muffins. Salads and sandwiches are available for catered lunch.

With locations across the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, and soon entering Texas and Mississippi, Eggs Up Grill offers a unique experience for guests and franchise partners alike. Its great tasting food and drinks, uniquely friendly service and everyday affordability make Eggs Up Grill a number one choice for guests.

The restaurant will hire up to 25 team members and will begin interviewing candidates this month. Those interested can apply online at eggsupgrill.com. For more information, follow @EUGGermantown on Facebook and Instagram.
