Robinson Township, PA – Walnut Grill
Local restaurant chain, Walnut Grill has just penned a deal for a 5,000 SQ FT space at Settlers Ridge Shopping Center. This is the former location of Stonepepper’s grill which had file for Chapter 11 in May 2013. This will be the fifth location in the region. They will employ from 90-100 people and will accommodate up to 290 once open in July or early August.
Seatle, WA – Vendemmia
Brian Clevenger will be opening Vendemmia sometime this summer. Clevenger is currently the chef at Ethan Stowell’s Staple and Fancy. The new restaurant will focus on handmade pasta vegetable dishes and wine pairings. An opening is scheduled for June.
Waco, TX – Twisted Root Burger Co.
This will be the 12th Twisted Root Burger location in Texas. Work will begin in April and expected to be completed with an opening in September. Jason Boso is the owner and is planning on taking over the former Texas Playhouse.
Chicago, IL – The Victor Bar
The Fehr brothers have recently submitted an application to operate the Victor Bar on Damen Ave. This will be a small project with seating for only about 35 people. The menu will be small bites since the project is limited in the kitchen area. An estimated opening date is set for late August or early September.
Atlanta, GA – Marcel
Ford Fry is planning on opening a Steakhouse in the Abattoir’s location once it closes later this month. This will be Fry’s third Westside restaurant and the only steakhouse in Westside. The restaurant has targeted July as an opening timeframe.
Sacramento, CA – Linda’s Chicago Style Pizzeria
Owner Linda Ellington will be opening a second location for Linda’s Chicago Style Pizzeria. She will be taking over the former Cafe location which has closed. They are planning on opening April 2015.
