Acclaimed fast casual Mediterranean brand to celebrate re-opening of Plano and Southlake locations on Oct. 27
Dallas, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Taziki’s Mediterranean Café is coming back fresher than ever, re-opening its doors to the communities of Plano and Southlake with ribbon-cutting ceremonies and $1 specials on Thursday, Oct. 27.
Along with the re-opening celebrations, $1 menu items will be offered at both locations all day including the Dip Sample Platter (sample of four dips with pita), Greek Salad (no protein), Lemon Chicken Soup, Chicken Roll-Ups with chips, Chicken Gyro with chips and Grilled Cheese Pita with chips. This offer is only valid on Oct. 27 for dine-in guests at the Plano and Southlake locations. No substitutions. Limit one of each item per guest while supplies last.
Taziki’s Plano re-opening celebration will start at 10:30 a.m. and feature a guest DJ providing tunes until 12:30 p.m. in the newly renovated 2,740-square-foot café located at 8305 Preston Road, Ste. 100, next door to Pure Barre.
The Southlake ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. in its 2,589-square-foot café located at 2750 East Southlake Blvd., across from Cook Children’s Urgent Care Center.
But guests will want to arrive early to both celebrations as Taziki’s will hand out gift bags filled with branded merchandise and special offers to the first 25 guests at each location!
“We’re looking forward to showcasing our new dining rooms and serving Taziki’s authentic Mediterranean dishes to these communities again,” Franchisee Farzin Ferdowsi said. “Our mission in redesigning these locations is to create a more efficient atmosphere for the in-person dining experience, while making it convenient for our take-out guests.”
Guests at the Plano location can look forward to an updated To-Go and third-party pickup area for easier access and convenience. The Southlake location will debut a new digital menu screen to create a more vibrant and modern appeal.
Additionally, Ferdowsi and partner Benny Farzad, a Dallas native, plan to open the first of their five new Dallas-Fort Worth locations in the first quarter of 2023. Their plan is to build out the DFW market to generate brand awareness and reach new customers.
“We want the brand to grow in the heart of Dallas and we think it will be important to open additional locations here soon,” Farzad said. “This is just the beginning of our 5- to 10-year plan for growth across DFW. We believe, based on the quality of our food, that we will reach our sales goals and have the potential to open 15-20 locations in the future.”
Taziki’s Plano will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Southlake location will be open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
