The top two awards presented at the awards dinner were the Franchisee of the Year Award and the Unsung Hero Award.
The Franchisee of the Year Award honors the franchisee that exemplifies excellence in all areas of restaurant operations. This year’s recipient was Brett Weis, representing the franchise owner of four The Egg & I Restaurants located in Kearney, Omaha and Lincoln, NE.
The Unsung Hero Award recognizes the individual who has had a significant impact on the success of The Egg & I brand, without necessarily, receiving the appropriate recognition for his/her accomplishments. This year’s recipient was Ron Marshall, representing Mac Haik, the franchise owner of 11 The Egg & I Restaurants in Texas and Alabama.
