During August 10% of all sales from Deli Month special menu benefit Feeding Florida
West Palm Beach, FL (RestaurantNews.com) To celebrate National Deli Month in August, TooJay’s Deli, beloved for its authentic New York-style delicacies, has introduced a special menu of new options to please any palate. As part of the celebration, 10% of all sales from the Deli Month menu benefit Feeding Florida, the state’s leading network of food banks.
“National Deli Month is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the rich culinary traditions of delis while giving back to our community,” said CEO Mark Kirke.” We are thrilled to introduce these exciting new menu items and to support Feeding Florida in their mission to combat hunger across the state.”
Throughout August the Deli Month menu is available at all 20 TooJay’s locations throughout Florida and for orders online. Guests will enjoy:
- Brisket Latkes – A savory twist on a classic favorite, potato pancakes are topped with braised brisket, mushroom demi-glace, caramelized onions, creamy horseradish sauce and green onions and served on a bed of arugula.
- Dijon Chicken Salad (Wrap or Platter) – A hearty combination of diced chicken, broccoli, green and red peppers and red onion is mixed with creamy Dijon sauce and available as a wrap or platter.
- Pastrami Reuben “Knishwich” – An innovative and delicious sandwich with seasoned pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing is served on a homemade Knish with coleslaw and a pickle on the side.
- Palm Beach Club – A fresh and satisfying club sandwich is stacked with ham, turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, and mayonnaise served on toasted Challah bread with coleslaw and a pickle on the side.
- Chocolate Cheesecake Delight – Layers of chocolate cake are separated with a generous layer of TooJay’s New York style cheesecake.
Guests can choose from the National Deli Month menu benefiting Feeding Florida or TooJay’s regular menu.
