Fayetteville, AR (RestaurantNews.com) Slim Chickens, the 300-plus-unit fast-casual chicken franchise, is teaming up with Dr Pepper® to launch Dr Pepper Blasted Tenders, Tender Bites and Wings nationwide beginning September 14th for a limited time.
The collaboration exclusively pairs the one-of-a-kind taste of Dr Pepper, a blend of 23 unique flavors, with Slim Chickens’ hand-breaded chicken.
Dr Pepper Blasted is a proprietary dry seasoning blend that is applied by hand after the chicken comes out of the fryer. It is not a sauce, and the chicken is not brined or marinated in Dr Pepper. The seasoning adheres to the hand-breaded coating, so the Dr Pepper flavor comes through in every bite.
