To celebrate small business owners across America, Spark Business from Capital One has sent two outstanding small business owners on a 10-week journey across the country to explore and document the true fabric of America’s economy – small businesses. Trisha Dalton, award-winning independent director and producer, and John Sears, editor and cinematographer, are both successful small business owners ready to celebrate the spirit of “I am Small Business Proud” across the country.
Their journey spans from New York City to the shores of the west coast, Los Angeles, uncovering and documenting untold stories from real small business owners. Other cities along the way include New Jersey, Philadelphia, Richmond (VA), Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville, Austin, Denver, and Seattle, with Trisha and John sharing tips they learn along the way about what makes a small business run.
You can check out a great video from the Nashville stop spotlighting Keith Hayman, the owner of 12th and Porter and Music City Pizza. Hayman shares how he gives ‘record deals’ to local musicians by naming pizzas after their bands and donating a dollar for every pizza sold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv6HePZ5Pb0
Sponsored by Spark Business from Capital One, the “I Am Small Business Proud” campaign shines a spotlight on the backbone of this country’s economy.
