McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants will host its 13th annual Veterans Appreciation Event on Sunday, November 13, at participating restaurants across the country. In recognition of their service to our country, U.S. military veterans will be treated to a complimentary entrée from a special McCormick & Schmick’s menu.
“Our Veterans Appreciation Event has become a tradition that our restaurants look forward to each year,” said Bill Freeman, CEO of McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants. “We’re proud to honor the men and women who have bravely served our country, and we enjoy providing them with VIP treatment and an opportunity to enjoy a great meal with friends and family on this special day.”
McCormick & Schmick’s prides itself on the fresh seafood selection available daily and the special Veterans Appreciation menu will be no exception. On November 13, veterans will be able to choose a complimentary lunch or dinner entrée, including mouth-watering options like Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, Roasted Cedar Plank Salmon and Crispy Fried Shrimp, to name a few.
McCormick & Schmick’s is partnering with its website developer The Revere Group to highly encourage reservations for the Veterans Appreciation Event, as tables fill up quickly for this event each year. Guests can easily make their reservations online through the restaurant’s website.
The Veterans Appreciation Event began in 1999 at a single McCormick & Schmick’s location and has grown to include McCormick & Schmick’s restaurants and veterans nationwide. The program has been praised by former President George W. Bush and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a number of state veterans departments and the National Restaurant Association.
The McCormick & Schmick’s Veterans Appreciation Event is offered to veterans who have served in the active military, naval, or air service and who were honorably discharged or released. All veterans must show proper identification.
