Buca Inc. is suing Faegre & Benson for legal malpractice after losing millions of dollars on a botched restaurant chain sale.
Faegre represented Minneapolis-based Buca Inc., which operates Italian restaurant chain Buca di Beppo, on the 2006 sale of a struggling East Coast chain that it repurchased after learning that the original agreement was flawed, Buca said in its lawsuit.
Minneapolis-based Faegre, the largest law firm in Minnesota and soon to be one of the largest in the nation, denied wrongdoing.
