Get your cameras ready! The classic American restaurant, Daily Grill, today announced details for the second annual ‘If I Made a Commercial for Daily Grill’ video contest. Starting May 1, Daily Grill will accept 30-45 second video entries uploaded on www.dailygrill.com. The winner will win the grand prize – $4,000 in cash and $1,000 in Daily Grill promotional cards. Participants may use their video camera, film gear, DVD equipment or even their cell phones to produce their very own video commercial for Daily Grill.
Commercials will be judged on the basis of originality, overall appeal and likelihood to motivate people to eat at Daily Grill. The top ten entries receiving the highest scores in the initial evaluation will be forwarded to a panel of judges from Daily Grill who will then select the top three winners. The first prize winner will receive $2,000 in cash and $500 of Daily Grill promotional cards and second prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash and $250 in promotional cards.
Last year’s winning videos featured commercials about precarious lunch affairs, a girl’s night out and a spoof about auditioning for a Daily Grill commercial. Foodies, videographers, aspiring directors and YouTube aficionados are all encouraged to participate.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to tell us what they love about Daily Grill,” said Vice President of Marketing for Grill Concepts, Terri Henry. “Last year’s entries were so creative; we really got a behind-the-scenes and sometimes humorous look at what our guests enjoy about this restaurant – whether it’s the freshly prepared food, the comfortable ambience or the dependability of quality and service.”

Read all rules and regulations at http://dailygrill.com/2011VideoContestRules.pdf before uploading commercial entries. Videos must be no longer than 45 seconds and include Daily Grill’s logo.
