Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Denver-based fast casual restaurant concept offering fresh, healthy and authentic Mediterranean cuisine, today announced the grand opening of its first Fort Collins location. Opening September 1 at 100 W. Troutman Parkway, the new restaurant is the 13th Colorado-based location for the concept and puts Garbanzo in four markets throughout the state.
The Fort Collins Garbanzo joins nine Denver-metro locations in Highlands, Greenwood Village, Aurora, Littleton, Park Meadows, Highlands Ranch, University Hills, Lone Tree and Glendale, as well as two Colorado Springs locations in Broadmoor Towne Center and First and Main Town Center, and one in Boulder on Twenty Ninth Street mall.
“The Fort Collins community has been extremely welcoming and equally as excited for us to open our new location near the corner of S. College Avenue and E. On grand opening day, guests will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for the chance to win a free entrée, Garbanzo gift card, reusable Garbanzo tote bag and other prizes. The new Fort Collins location will partner with and help raise funds for Team Fort Collins, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the abuse and illegal use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, particularly among youth and families, by promoting healthy lifestyles.
Following the grand opening, Garbanzo will hold several giveaways throughout September and into October to further the new store excitement. From a mountain bike to an e-reader to kids’ bike helmets, guests can enter each giveaway for a chance to win one of these items. Garbanzo offers guests a variety of healthy, high-quality Mediterranean items with an emphasis on flavor, freshness and authenticity, as well as a trans-fat free menu. Guests have the ability to customize every meal with items such as pita, laffa, falafel, shwarma, hummus, seasoned rice, sauces and dressings. All Garbanzo salads and sauces are prepared on-site daily, and the pita are baked fresh on-site throughout the day in every restaurant. Additionally, several ingredients are bought locally and some are imported directly from the Mediterranean region.
