George Martin Group, a multi-concept restaurant group, owns and operates five restaurants on the south shore of Nassau County. The flagship restaurant, George Martin the Original, an award winning American Bistro, is located in Rockville Centre. Nick’s Tuscan Grill is an Italian trattoria, serving the Long Beach community. Grillfire, a popular priced, casual, upscale American grill featuring an eclectic variety of steaks, chops, seafood, salads and burgers, currently has three locations – Merrick, Rockville Centre and Long Beach. The Brand is continuing to grow with the opening of Grillfire in the Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover, Maryland slated for the Spring of 2011.
The George Martin Group looks forward to the opening of our most recent restaurant, George Martin’s Strip Steak. Strip Steak will appeal to those discerning diners who appreciate a true upscale steakhouse experience offering savory dry-aged steaks as well as a multitude of chops, seafood and house specialties that are sure to be palate pleasers.
Strip Steak is situated in a turn of the century house in Great River, a stone’s throw away from the Great South Bay. The sophisticated, rich design is vibrant yet intimate with an art deco style that mirrors the 1920’s, which is evident in the period artwork as well as existing architectural amenities.
We look forward to the opening of Strip Steak in mid-December. Join us for dinner, host a party in one of our private dining rooms or simply enjoy a cocktail at the bar. Strip Steak is open for dinner seven nights a week and is available for private parties during the day.
