Beaumont, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Cooler days call for heartier cravings, and Jason’s Deli is leaning into fall with the return of seasonal favorites and a nostalgic way to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Available Oct. 1, the lineup brings back the Harvest Turkey Sandwich, two hearty soups and a pumpkin-spiced sweet treat, while Deli Dollars Rewards members can use their brand knowledge to win prizes inspired by the 1970s through the 2000s.
The Harvest Turkey Sandwich puts a spin on the classic turkey sandwich, pairing smoked turkey breast with field greens, red onions, Muenster cheese and mayonnaise on a toasted cranberry sweet potato ciabatta bun. Served with chips, the sandwich balances savory and subtly sweet flavors in every bite.
For guests craving something warm and hearty, Beef Stew combines tender pot roast, potatoes, carrots, peas and a medley of garden vegetables in a rich, savory broth. Southwest Chicken Chili takes a different route with tender chicken, kidney beans, green chiles, cilantro and jalapeños, finished with cheddar cheese and diced red onions. Rounding out the lineup is Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cake, a moist, flavorful cake made with pumpkin, cinnamon and cloves – available by the slice or as a whole cake for an easy coffee break pairing or sweet finish to a meal.
Jason’s Deli is also bringing back its Flavors of the Season Package for fall, serving 10 with a festive spread featuring a tray of Harvest Turkey and Amy’s Turkey-O sandwiches with chips and pickles, plus a Nutty Mixed-Up Side Salad made with field greens, grapes, feta, cranberry-walnut mix and strawberries tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. A tray of Cranberry Walnut Cookies and Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cake tops off this crowd-pleasing seasonal feast.
