Jennifer and Ed Schrage, owners of Pronto Pasta in Raleigh, North Carolina, have announced that they are hosting the first Dine Out for Education Week, taking place Monday, Jan. 24 through Saturday, Jan. 29. During this time, the restaurant will host a competition in which it tracks sales brought in by students, families and staff members who represent Joyner, Conn, Root and Green elementary schools. Pronto Pasta will then donate 15 percent of the restaurant’s total sales back to the individual schools’ PTA organizations. Once the event has closed, the school that has brought in the highest number of sales throughout the competition will win a free catered lunch from Pronto Pasta for their faculty during Teacher Appreciation Week in March.
“Anytime we have the opportunity to put our marketing funds towards giving back to local schools we consider it a win-win situation,” said Jennifer Schrage. “We are excited about the opportunity to host the first ever Dine Out for Education Week, and hope to see the community out supporting the initiative.”
Pronto Pasta, located at 404 E. Six Forks Road, is a locally owned and operated, family-friendly restaurant where the food is both Fresh and Fast!
