At the Ransom Café, where there are no prices on the menu, Matt Armbruster looked out at the patrons filling his tables, then noticed one man who’d walked in alone and quietly placed his order at the front counter. The man dug some change out of his pocket and slipped it into a contribution box.
“What will you have?” asked a smiling volunteer, Jody Johnson
Moments later, he had a lunch of pizza, salad and soup.
How much he paid — indeed, if he’d paid anything at all — was of no importance.
