
Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today they are celebrating the 100th Birthday of “cowboy crooner” and namesake Roy Rogers the week of Saturday, November 5th through Friday, November 11th at most locations. The restaurant chain will celebrate with promotions and discounts aimed at guests that visit during the week, including some sweet treats and special offerings.
American singer and cowboy actor Roy Rogers, was born Leonard Franklin Slye on November 5th, 1911 and died July 6, 1998. He was also the namesake of Roy Rogers Restaurants. To honor him on what would have been his 100th birthday, the restaurant chain will offer their guests:
- Sweet Snacks: Roy Rogers Restaurants will be offering their guests complimentary bitesize sweets while they last, on Saturday, November 5th only. The restaurant chain invites you to join their staff in a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
- Sandwich “Bounce-Back”: Pick up your Roy’s 100th Birthday flyer with any purchase during the week, bring it back through the month of November, and take advantage of a FREE regular size roast beef sandwich, when you buy a large drink and the classic holster of fries.
- Roy and Roger, Meet Roy Rogers: This week only, all guests named “Roy” or “Roger”—show us your driver’s license—and you will receive one FREE regular combo meal. Limit one meal per person, per visit.
- “10-Gallon Tots”: This week only, children 12 and under wearing a Cowboy Hat will receive a Roy’s Wooden Nickel, good for one FREE small ice cream cone. No purchase necessary.
